Pale Luna (ORIGINAL FINALLY FOUND)
A downloadable weird text adventure for Windows
Description
Pale Luna was a text adventure in the vein of "Zork" (1980) and "The Lurking Horror" (1987), at a time when said genre was swiftly going out of fashion.
Collectors have been known to offer upwards of six figures for an authentic copy of the game.
How we found this.
Pale Luna is a creepy game that for many years was believed to be fictional, but after years of searching, we found a physical copy of the game.
Purchased from an owner of an old video game & movies shop in San Francisco in 2020, we later that year contacted a user who owned a floppy disk drive into which we could insert the floppy disk and confirm that it was indeed a copy of the mythical game.
We currently believe that this game was distributed using a game backup device that could copy files onto floppy disks, similar to what was done with crappy bootleg games like Hong Kong 97.
In the original Creepypasta it was mentioned that if you lost the game, your PC would crash and you would have to restart it. For some unknown reason, this is not the case in this version. Enjoy.
Controls
As a text game, the main mechanics is to write commands, whose actions are represented in text on the screen. Pale Luna is an old and unfinished game, so his command system is mediocre.
All commands in this game must be written in capital letters and without a space. For example USEGOLD, GONORTH or DIGHOLE.
This game will NOT crash your PC if you lose.

this game dosent really work... because when you open the cmd prompt and type in PICK UP SHOVEL or PICK UP GOLD ect. the game dosent continue and sticks you into that one spot. Not changing questions. Just staying on the same one. Even when different answers where typed it didnt move to the next page.
The commands should not have spaces! try PICKUPGOLD, PICKUPSHOVEL, GONORTH and so
ah i see. Thanks for the tip. When i watched the video the guy put dashes like PICK-UP-GOLD he didnt do your idea.
love this game! very well coded, and very smooth!!
