Five Nights At Freddy's (FNAF) GDevelop Template
🎮 What is This?
This is not just a fan remake. This is the ultimate Five Nights at Freddy’s 1-style template, rebuilt completely from scratch in GDevelop 5 and designed specifically for beginner developers who want to create their own FNAF-style games easily and professionally.
Whether you're just starting out or you're building your 10th fangame, this template gives you a powerful base to start. With authentic AI Levels, accurate mechanics, and fully original features—this is the closest you'll get to the original without touching a line of code.
🧠 Built to Replicate, Designed to Expand
- Dozens of amazing features: camera system, ambience, easter eggs, new unlocks (like plushies & radar map), and much more!
- Jumpscares, transitions, and menus redesigned for a premium feel
- Doors, lights, power usage, and even Phone Guy calls—all faithfully recreated
- Includes Night 6 and a fully-working Custom Night mode
- AI difficulty scales from 1 to 20 (just like in the original game)
- All 5 animatronics follow the same routes and behavior patterns as the original FNAF 1
All main game logic runs in just ONE Office Scene and ONE Monitor Scene, drastically improving performance, organization, and load times—a massive upgrade from typical scene-heavy templates.
⚙️ The Code: Clean, Commented & Creator-Friendly
Forget messy event sheets and confusing logic. Every mechanic is organized in clean and tidy user-friendly Drag and Drop code, with Event Groups and Comments that explain what each part does.

how do you import the assets? When I open the file on Gdevelop it doesnt have any of the images
Hi! Are you sure the files downloaded correctly? Normally, the assets should already be on the template
I'm still new to this, how do I get the whole thing into GDevelop? I can only get FNAF1.json in. Your instructions say "Open it with the GDevelop 5 App" but that's not an option for anything but the json file.
Hi! Yep, you have to open the project file (the .json) with the GDevelop 5 app. Once you have the project, you can start changing assets and adding new features. I recommend you watch some Youtube tutorials if you are not familiar with the engine
How would I go about adding audio for phone calls/the kitchen room?
Hey! Just wanted to let you know that I’ve completely remade the template—everything is way more polished now, and it includes working Phone Guy calls and a ton of improvements across the board (AI, lights, Night 6, Animatronics movement paths, etc.). Thanks again for your previous feedback! It really helped shape this new update. If you get a chance to try out the latest version, I’d love to hear what you think.
thats illegal
😈
would you be able to make it a standalone app
so you don't have to use GDevlop?
Maybe i can do something like that! GDevelop is a free and easy open-source game engine tho
I think I'm dumb because no matter how many videos I watch u still don't know how to use it. :(
can you make it free.
It is on sale now!
isn't that ILEGAL?
Can you put it on sale :)
