GDevelop's Nextbots (Template)

Ever wanted to make your own nextbot, or Backrooms-like horror game? Like those from GMod or Roblox? Then this is perfect for you! Download this template, edit it and publish it on any platform!

About the game:

• Full Main Menu with many options (Play, Settings, Credits and How to Play)
• Fully working Nextbot that chases the player and plays loud spatial music (an edited version of "Amazing Grace" by Original Sacred Harp Choir)
• Full Backrooms map. Well achieved "Liminal Space" effect.
• Settings Menu with gamemodes and other things, where the player can customize his gameplay
• Analog horror-like effect (CRT. Disabled on mobile)
• Clean transitions between scenes
• Custom Death screen (that shows one of +20 random game over messages, just like the original Roblox game)

About the code:

• Clean and tidy user-friendly Drag and Drop code, with Event Groups and Comments
• Completely tested and beta-tested. Works on PC, but also on mobile with a few fixes.

How to use it:

1. Test it here
2. Download it
3. Open it with the GDevelop 5 App
4. Make your own game with it (rename it, change the assets, make a new map, add your own Nextbots and other stuff, etc.)
5. Reupload it!

Licenses:

• You CAN use this Template to make your own game, BUT you have to mention the game credits, only if you didn't change every asset.
• You CAN'T re-sell this template.
• You DON'T have to put my name or credit me in your game. There is no watermark in the template.
